Reconstruction of the MTO ferry dock near Picton. The project required the construction of a temporary dock, then removal of the existing dock and the construction of a new dock. The work included: dredging; steel sheet piles; bearing piles; structural concrete; installing a hydraulic ramp; realignment of the existing road; constructing a public washroom and a maintenance building; and maintaining an effective year round turbidity curtain in adverse weather and ice conditions. The project finished on schedule and received full incentive and bonus.
